We are Nattr Limited, company number 09168315 and our registered office is 39A Welbeck Street, London W1G 8DH. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZA083143. 

Our service is called “Nattr”. 


Through Nattr, all messages will be shared anonymously with all other users of Nattr. You also have the option to share messages privately with contacts that you have stored and selected on your mobile device or to selected Facebook friends.  

When you use Nattr, you are agreeing to Nattr’s privacy policy, which means that you’re agreeing that’s it’s OK for your messages through Nattr to be shared publicly. 

But not everything on Nattr is open to everyone. This privacy policy also tells you how we look after the personal information that you give us. By ‘personal information’ we mean the information we request from you to communicate with us and to allow you to use the Nattr service. It’s the kind of stuff that is information you give us when you join, and anything that we collect as you move around the app and website. By using Nattr, you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this privacy policy. 


We may change this privacy policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage). We encourage you to review the privacy policy periodically to stay informed about our practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy. 

How do we protect your personal information? 
We are serious about guarding the security of your personal information and take appropriate organisational and technical security measures to protect your data against unauthorised disclosure or processing. We use a secure server to store the information you give us when you register. 

What information do we collect about you? 
We collect information about you when you register with us, submit comments, share messages, and provide feedback. If you sign up to Nattr using Facebook, it will give us access to see your Facebook profile and usage. We also collect information about your browsing activities on our services.  

We use various technologies to collect information, and this may include sending cookies to your computer or mobile device. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us to improve Nattr and your experience, to see which areas and features of Nattr are popular and to count visits. 

How will we use the information about you? 
We use your information collected from our app to provide our services to you, manage your account, improve our services, conduct research and training, for quality assurance purposes, and to record details about the services you use, in order to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We may also record our communications with you. Information collected may be used for training purposes. 

Nattr will not share your personal information for marketing purposes with companies outside Nattr. However, we may share your information in the following ways: 

    • We provide your information to trusted partners who work with Nattr under confidentiality agreements as part of delivering Nattr’s core service. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information. 
    • We respond to legitimate requests by authorities with which we must legally comply, or to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. 

As outlined elsewhere in the Privacy Policy, we reserve the right to keep copies of IP data in secure, restricted backup systems for use in the prevention of crime and for the maintenance of essential core systems required to protect the delivery and quality of the user experience of this service. 

If there is a change (or prospective change) in the ownership of Nattr or any of its assets, we may disclose personal information to the new (or prospective) owner. If we do so, we will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. 

If you have put information on Nattr and someone else (a third party) has stored that information, then we cannot control how or when that gets used and will not be held responsible for it.  
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your web browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of Nattr. 

Push Notifications and Alerts 
With your consent, we may send push notifications or alerts to your mobile device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device. 

Changing Settings  
You can restrict Nattr’s collection of contact by changing your phone’s privacy settings. On iPhone, go to Settings > Privacy > Contacts and switch Nattr to “Off.” 

Access to your Information and Correction 

You can request a copy of the personal information that we hold about you by emailing We may ask you to pay an administration charge (which is capped by law) before we supply this information. We will comply with the timings to reply which are set out in data protection law. 

Storage of Information 
The information you provide to Nattr is encrypted and stored on Parse. All transmission sent over the wire is encrypted with TLS and all message data is linked by unique identifiers to users.  

Your information is stored only as long as necessary to accomplish the purposes described in this privacy policy. We store log information collected for debugging purposes in a seven-day temporary storage. When you ask us to deactivate your Nattr account, your account will be put on hold and the content will be temporarily disassociated from you but will not be deleted.  

Data Transfer 
We may transfer your personal information to countries outside of the European Economic Area EEA (such as the US) either to parts of Nattr Ltd which are outside the UK or to carefully selected business partners that agree to “Safe Harbor” certification who help us provide the Nattr service. We do this for our data management and business purposes, and in particular, for outsourced data processing by organisations on our behalf. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is adequately protected. If you do not agree to this procedure you should not use our services. 

Depending on the servers we use, we may have to transfer your personal information outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) to use those services – but we will only work with companies we trust, in countries we trust and only for the purposes set out above. 

We take reasonable measures to protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. 

Analytics Services Provided by Others 
We may allow third parties to provide analytics services to us. These entities may use cookies, web beacons and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Nattr service, including your IP address, messages shared, messages viewed, comments made, time spent on messages, and conversion information. This information may be used by us and others to, among other things, analyse and track data, determine the popularity of certain content and better understand your online activity. 

Retention of Personal Information 
Nattr will only retain personal information about you for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described in this privacy policy. When Nattr determines that we are no longer using the personal information, we will destroy or permanently erase such personal information.
